Fast and furious movies in order 1-10:

Fast & Furious movies series is one of the longest-running film franchises of all time. The Fast & Furious series has evolved from relatively modest street racing movies to the pinnacle of over-the-top Hollywood action. Have earned name and it’s a development that has led to a global box office haul of over $2 billion USD.

Throughout that time, the franchise’s twelve films (nine mainline, one spinoff, and two shorts) have stitched together a complex narrative. Which took a lot of hard work and has proven to be a bit difficult to follow with the latest Fast & Furious movie: Fast X.

Here you’ll find a second list that orders the movies by their actual release dates, if you’d prefer to see them in that order. In consideration of the series’ importance to the film’s ongoing narrative and the lack of a film, we are not including the animated series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers.

The movie series cast inclues lead actor Vin Diesel aka Dominic Toretto, late Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster Tyrese Gibson,  Ludacris , Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson,

Fast and Furious Movies in order to watch:

It will take you almost an entire day to complete or watch a Fast and Furious movie marathon. If you want to watch the entire franchise in a week, all the movies take about 23 and a half hours total. It may take even more time.

Fast and Furious Movies in order to watch list :

1. The Fast and the Furious (2001)

This timeline is the first film in the franchise, starting with 2001’s The Fast and the Furious. This fairly simple action plot sees Paul Walker’s undercover policeman Brian O’Connor tasked with taking down a crew of carjackers led by Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto. Brian gets involved in illegal street racing, befriends Dom, begins dating his sister (Jordan Brewster’s Mia Toretto), and ultimately chooses those relationships over his duty as a cop. The first film also introduces audiences to series lead Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Dom’s girlfriend Letty Ortiz.

2. The Turbo Charged Prelude for 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)

This turbo charged prelude to 2 Fast 2 Furious shows how Brian O’Connor, on the run from law enforcement, makes it from LA to Miami before the events of 2 Fast 2 Furious. This six-minute short film features no dialogue and there are some races. It’s unnecessary to see it, but it’s here nonetheless.

3. 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)

The only film in the series without Dom Toretto, 2 Fast 2 Furious introduces Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej Parker (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges). The story follows Brian O’Connor and Pearce as they go undercover to capture a drug lord in exchange for having his criminal record expunged – a mission which is ultimately successful. It also introduces a new love interest for O’Connor in Eva Mendes’ Monica Fuentes, who appears only briefly in Fast Five.

4. Los Bandoleros (2009)

It is the second of two shorts in the series, Los Bandoleros, taking place between Fast 1 and Fast 4, although its exact location on the timeline is never specified. Written and directed by Vin Diesel, Los Bandoleros is set in the Dominican Republic, where Dom is left depressed after the events of Fast 1. In its 20-minute runtime, the film manages to cover an oil war, corrupt politics and a prison. The break results in a romantic reunion between Dom and Letty. Chronologically, this is the first time we see Han Lyu defeating Sung Kang to death.

5. Fast & Furious (2009)

Not to be confused with The Fast and the Furious, the fourth main film in the Fast & Furious franchise, although it is chronologically preceded by Tokyo Drift (film number three). It is the sequel to Fast 1, set five years later, in which Dom and Brian team up once again to take down a drug lord and avenge Letty’s “death”. Dom is eventually arrested and sentenced, however on the way to prison Brian, Mia and Tego Leo (Tego Calderon) are seen stopping the prison bus. Fast & Furious also introduces Gal Gadot’s Gisele Yashar. This Wonder Woman was the actor’s first major film role.

6. Fast Five (2011)

The third Fast film from recurring series director Justin Lin raises the stakes with massive set pieces and a supersized cast featuring Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs. Picking up where Fast & Furious left off, Dom heads to Rio de Janeiro with Mia and Brian after escaping from a prison transport. A familiar story unfolds: they’re on the run from another government agency, this time Luke Hobbs and the DEA. Steal street cars and race them. Eva Mendes’ Monica Fuentes returns in a mid-credits scene and reveals that Letty is still alive.

7. Fast & Furious 6 (2013)

Fast 6 begins with Dom and his crew once again on the lam. Meanwhile, Hobbs is looking to take down a mercenary group led by Luke Evans’ Owen Shaw. Hobbs recruits Dom by showing him a photo of Letty, whom Dom believes to be dead, and offers amnesty to return him and his crew to America. As usual, there are vehicular glitches and casualties, although ultimately things work out for the crew, and the franchise continues. A post-credits scene introduces Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw to the series.

8. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)

The strangest of the Fast films in terms of timeline is the third film in the series, which actually takes place between Fast 6 and 7. The first Fast film, directed by Justin Lin, features a Dom cameo but focuses primarily on teenage street racers Sean Boswell Lucas Black. and Twinkie Shad “Bow Wow” Moss serving as an advisor to series lead Han Lue Shawn. With a gross of $62 million, it is the least successful film of the series overall at the box office.

9. Furious 7 (2015)

The series’ biggest box office success to date is Furious 7, which grossed over $350 million – no other Fast film has grossed $250 million. It is also the most well-liked by critics, with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 82% (five points better than runner-up Fast Five). Furious 7 picks up at the end of Tokyo Drift, with Statham’s Deckard Shaw serving as the main villain. It was directed by James Wan (Saw, The Conjuring, Aquaman).

This is Paul Walker’s last Fast film with Brian O’Conner, as Walker died during its filming. Furious 7 ends with an emotional farewell to Brian/Walker.

10. The Fate of the Furious (2017)

Order is restored here as Fast 8 follows Fast 7 in both the real and fictional timelines. The film’s cast includes Charlize Theron, Russell Crowe, Scott Eastwood, and Helen Mirren, as well as series regulars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Dwayne Johnson, and Jason Statham. In addition to the expected dose of fast cars, over-the-top action and double-crossing, Fast 8 finds time for cyber terrorism and the threat of nuclear war.

11. F9:

This film introduces John Cena as brother of Vin Diesel. They both hated each other and movie is movie moves around their rivalry. This movie was mostly watched as it has really amazing action scenes.

12. Fast X:

Last but not the least, till the date this is last movie of this successful franchise. This time Dom and his family faces the biggest danger. This movie introduces Jason Momoa. He decided to destroy everything that Dom love. Fans were eagerly waiting for this movie.
